I know you and Ro watch a lot of television together. How do you decide what to watch? How are your tastes similar and how are they different, and how have they evolved over time? Do you feel like you watch something differently when you are watching it together?

IT IS NOT ALWAYS EASY. Ro has a thing for reality shows involving fashion, I basically just want to keep watching the episode where Buffy’s mom dies, over and over and over again forever. But it’s always been true that we’re both nerds at heart, so anything scifi is a given (Firefly, Doctor Who) and if a show features a handsome dude no problems there either (Justified). Sometimes I will just start watching a show until she gets sucked in (Downton Abbey) and then sometimes she will do the same to me (Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares). We both always have writing and other projects to work on at night, so someone’s always too busy to watch something, leaving the other to do whatever they want. We are currently watching The IT Crowd and Richmond is the closest thing I will ever have to a spirit animal, I think. Also you can see through Jen’s dress in Episode 4.
