It used to be that the currency of the internet was the link. If you did something cool/different/interesting, you were rewarded with links. I liked that system. But now that the currency of the internet is, well, currency, the system doesn’t seem as… “fair” isn’t the word. “Equitable?” “Socialist?” “Trustworthy?” “Fun to participate in?” I don’t know. Up to you.
