I don’t have any strongly-hold opinions about whether it’s a good thing or the End of Times that there are movies on Flickr now, beyond the great pleasure I take in watching online communities lose their shit over issues that ultimately matter very little.
BUT what I do like is the fact that it’s the exact same interface as before, but now you can click on some of the pictures and see what happened in the moments following the initial image. It reminds me of the captures in Serenity and the picture frames in Harry Potter. As a general rule, any time life is more like Serenity and Harry Potter, I’m on board.
