1. There are no bombs and destruction raining down around my house.2. Running water, internet access, things like that.
3. Finished another chapter yesterday morning.
4. You do hear a lot of sirens at night, but there’s no enforced curfew or military checkpoints or people roaming the streets carry guns and other implements of destruction and war and oblivion.
5. Random emails from people who I haven’t heard from lately. Hi Kathryn!
6. Some good chapters of Chokeville lately. (And drama on Fort Black!)
7. 8 planets in our solar system, which is just one galaxy out of about 50 galaxies in our Local Group. Which is one Local Group of about 100 in our Supercluster. Beyond that, my brain fails. But billions and billions of planets, stretching out farther than the mind can imagine, and we ended up on the one where there is fresh asparagus this time of year. Pretty lucky.
